Chopin’s Last Mementoes: Museum Night at the Fryderyk Chopin Museum.

This event is organized by The Fryderyk Chopin Institute in conjunction with this year’s edition of Museum Night.

This year’s edition of Museum Night will feature the opening of an exhibition entitled SEEN/UNSEEN, presenting recently-acquired mementos – personal effects of Fryderyk Chopin. These objects, for decades surrounded by the care of the composer’s family, are marked by memories and emotions. How will the aura of the authentic object bring us closer to Fryderyk Chopin? Will we discover history in his personal effects? Will this exhibition make the composer present to us? Beyond this, the program includes a guided tour of the permanent exhibition, as well as piano recitals.

Opening of the SEEN/UNSEEN exhibition – 6:00 PM

Guided tours of the permanent exhibition – starting at 7:15 PM (hourly)

Piano recitals in the rendition of Tymoteusz Bies – 6:30 PM, 8:30 PM, 10:30 PM
