FINAL STAGE OF THE 7TH CONTEST „LIFE IN ARCHITECTURE” - ŻELAZOWA WOLA AMONG THE FINALISTS

We are glad to announce that the Chopin Birthplace and Park in Żelazowa Wola (a branch of the Chopin Museum in Warsaw) is one of the finalists of the 7th edition of the contest „Life in Architecture”. The estate in Żelazowa Wola has been nominated to the main prize in the category: „The best public space in Poland”. With this nomination Żelazowa Wola joined the 12 finalists chosen from 1064 works.

On the 5th of December the general director of the Chopin Institute, Artur Szklener, received the official nomination during a ceremony in the Saski hotel.

The aim of the contest organised since 1995 by the „Architektura – Murator” journal is to promote the best achevements in the Polish architecture. Prizes and disctinctions go to buildings which give new value to the urban space and at the same time respect the historical and cultural values of the area.
